Bicycle Safety Day May 17, 10:00 – 1:00

Time for spending more time in outdoor activities, especially using your bicycle, around the neighborhood or on longer trips. Are you and your bicycle ready for the hard use and cautions of summer riding?

Spanaway Lutheran Church at 16001 A Street in Spanaway is hosting a day for getting your bike ready for summer riding. Bikes will be evaluated for problems and repaired as needed. For those needing helmets, they will be fitted and provided free of charge. Test your cycling skills by trying an obstacle course. A representative from the Sheriff’s department will review rules of the road for safe cycling. Bicycle trail maps will be available so you can discover new places to visit on your bike.

All ages are welcome! Come and join us in the neighborhood, meet your neighbors, have your bike checked out and enjoy free hot dogs and drinks.
