JOINT BASE LEWIS-McCHORD, Wash. – 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) and First in Asia Association (FIAA) will conduct a Memorial Day wreath-laying ceremony Thursday, May 15, at 11 a.m. at the unit headquarters.
The ceremony will include a moment of silence for all fallen comrades whose names are engraved on the Memorial Wall followed by bell tolls for each of the three most recent fallen unit members. Key speakers will include a member of the 1SFG(A) command team and retired Army Lt. Col. Dennis Downey, President of the FIAA.
