PLU Celebrates May 17, Norwegian Constitution Day Bicentennial

PACIFIC LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY — May 17, 2014 was the 200th anniversary of the Norwegian Constitution. This Constitution, written after the Constitution of the United States creates a country based on laws, not men. Although Norway does have a monarchy, the country’s laws and rights rule the land.

As a school the prides itself on its Scandinavian heritage, Pacific Lutheran University celebrated this day with a flag raising followed by a President’s breakfast. Here are a few photo highlights.
