Join us for a Nature Walk out at Red Salmon Creek near the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge, next Saturday, August 2nd, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Special guest George Walter will guide the walk along Red Salmon Creek, an important salmon-producing tributary of the Nisqually Delta, where you’ll be able to see the restoration efforts of Land Trust partners and volunteers in action. Over 4,500 native trees and shrubs have been planted on this site to restore critical wildlife habitat and improve stream quality for salmonids.
This is an easy walk of less than a mile and a great way to explore this scenic property!
To register for Land Trust Nature Walks or for more information, please contact Nikki Dizon at staff@nisquallylandtrust.org or 360.489.3400. The walks are free but registration is required as space is limited.
