FREDERICKSON, WA — We are planning for as much as 250 cars. We have trophy’s for over 30 different classes. Car show participants will also be participating for a huge selection of door prize items. The Chili Challenge will have 9 local teams competing for the best and worst chili’s.  Chili’s will be judged at noon as well as being available to the public. Judges include some notable county figures including at least one local politician. We have nearly 40 vendors signed up to advertise their businesses.

For Entertainment —-Ted Vigil – will put on a live tribute to John Denver – Ted performed last year and was a huge hit with the crowd. A group of young dancers will also provide entertainment.

The best part is that, for the most part this is a free event for the public. Most children’s activities are free, free coffee and donuts will be served to the early arrivals, Umpqua Bank will hand out free ice cream treats, Niagra will offer bottled water, and Mitzel’s will have their food concession trailer offering a variety of meal choices.
