Elk Plain Post 118 is hosting a benefit chili feed for one of our members. It will be held on August 15, 2014 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Elk Plain Grange Hall, 21817 Mountain Hwy, Spanaway, Wa. Cost will be $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children and students.

A little about Dan:

Dan joined the Navy on the delayed entry program in 1981 while still in high school. He reported for basic training in January, 1982 in San Diego. Following that he went to advanced training in Biloxi, Miss. As a heavy equipment operator. He then entered the U.S. navy Seabees and went on to serve in the Philippines twice, plus Guam and Porto Rico. He was honorably discharged in 1990.

Dan currently lives in Graham with his wife Liz.

He currently suffers from a serious illness and is in need of our help and support.
