SPANAWAY, WA — Going into the game, the Bethel Braves were undefeated. At the end, it was 21 to 34 and Emerald Ridge took the win.

Along the way it was all the bells and whistles of a Homecoming game. Booths were selling T-shirts and other logo items, balloons were tied to the stadium, new trucks drove in with kings, queens, princes and princesses representing the four classes, cheerleaders performed special routines and the band playing tunes to pep up the crowd.
Since the editor of the Pierce Prairie Post is also a Bethel Alumni, she took the opportunity to take a special selfie in her Homecoming Spirit beads. Once a Brave, always a Brave.
