Bethel Public Schools Partner with American Traffic Solutions to Launch School Bus Stop Arm Program
Spanaway, Washington—Bethel Public Schools and the Pierce County Sheriff’s office has partnered with American Traffic Solutions (ATS)
to launch CrossingGuard®, ATS’ technology to help school districts address the growing problem of illegal passing of school buses that are stopped and boarding or disembarking children.
Bethel Schools Superintendent Tom Seigel, Ed Troyer from Pierce County Sheriff’s office, ATS Senior Vice President Charles Territo, and others will be on hand to discuss the program and provide demonstrations of how the equipment works. Media will also have the opportunity to review the initial program data and actual video violations.
