Tomorrow, Wed. Dec. 2, at 6:30 pm at Kapowsin Elem. we have the opportunity to be a part of the Dept. of Natural Resources discussion of how to restore the natural habitat of Lake Kapowsin. Andy Anderson, author of “Under the Shadow of the Mountain”, will be with us to contribute Kapowsin Lake history. Hope you plan to be a part of this interesting planning session and contribute to the process.

Also, you are invited to our annual Christmas pot luck and volunteer appreciation event on Wed. Dec 10 from 12-1:30 at the Graham fire and rescue station on 70th where William Pickard will be speaking about the best selling book “Boys in the Boat” with an eye toward creating a spot on Kapowsin Lake where crew teams can work out. Wouldn’t that be a win win for our community and a great opportunity for our youth!!
