PPP Changes and Updates

I certainly hope the Pierce Prairie Post is expanding your information resources here in Pierce County, Washington. In order to be more efficient, we have made a few little changes on our page.

You will now see on the top menu bar “$ Donate” and “*Contact” these items will allow you to help the Pierce Prairie Post afford expenses it encounters for WordPress, its PO Box, Zoom access, Adobe tools, and other fees associated with doing business. As part of the Spanaway Community Association, the PPP is basically the newsletter for the mid to south Pierce County unincorporated area.

The $ Donate page uses a PayPal link and also provides the name and address for the organization if you are willing to be a contributor.

The *Contact page includes a form to write an email to us. This change happened because we were receiving too many emails trying to sell us services that as volunteers, we are unable to afford. So we removed the direct email link. It is unfortunate that bots and auto-generated emails have brought us to this. Answering and even deleting these was becoming time consuming. Since so many email services are now trying to charge for email volume, we needed to slow it down.

Please do use the contact form to let us know of upcoming events that we should be posting about in our news! Thank you to all who have generously donated to our continued service to the community.

The Senior Center closed. There is currently no other center in Parkland Spanaway planned.
