They are no longer the Bethel Braves, they are the Bethel Bison, but the commitment to the area’s diversity and origin is there. On September 23, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., four school districts, Bethel, Yelm, North Thurston, and Olympia will present a back to school Pow Wow.

This event will include dancers in full regalia, drummers, vendors, and concessions. The grand entry will be at 1 p.m. The event takes place at the Bethel High School Gymnasium, 22215 38th Ave. E, Spanaway, WA 98387.
