The Frederickson Clover Creek Community Council formed in the 1970’s when Pierce County decided to industrialize a large section of acreage in the area. Since that time, corporations, jobs and housing have exploded over the landscape. The FCCCC helped guide the process to retain some livability in your neighborhoods. It is part of the democratic process for you to participate and provide input. Caring needs to happen before those notorious little yellow signs show up near your home.
The FCCCC will have a meeting Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 6 p.m. in the lunchroom of the Pierce County Skills Center at 160th & Canyon Road. Attending will teach you a lot. The folks on this committee know what is happening around the county.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. We will resume membership dues of $12/yr starting in January 2024 (on hold since 2021 due to the Covid pandemic). Feel free to pay in person at a meeting, mail in your check to FCCCC at PO Box 715, Spanaway, WA 98387 or through our secure website https://www.fcccc.us find the “Donate” link to PayPal on our homepage by scrolling down.

-The dues help us to meet our administrative costs, fulfill our 501C3 status requirements for accounting, maintain our website, and secure insurance when indicated for events (which we hope to resume in the future as we gain new volunteers).
2. The PCSC Summit Grill (formerly Glacier Grill) has resumed operations with a new menu, and as always, great prices! Please check out their menu and stop in for some excellent food and customer service, while supporting students from 10 area school districts! You will be blessed by this wonderful experience!

3. Chambers-Clover Creek Watershed Council will hold a meeting on how land is preserved for the public benefit, on Nov. 15 from 2:30pm to 5:30pm, at the Friends of Stan and Joan Cross Park (see link below). https://www.piercecountywa.gov/1860/Chambers—Clover-Watershed-Council
