The Graham Senior Center has been at Frontier Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Lodge Room B for over a year now. But 8 hours a week wasn’t quite enough to seek funding for their programs, so they found the Benston Hall, so they could expand to 15 hours.
On Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., there are now senior programs at the Benston Hall, 8120 304th Street E., Graham 98338. You can attend and have lunch with other seniors if you call 24 hours in advance. Lunch is $7 for members and $10 for non-members.
January 17 and 24 were soft opening and officially, January 31st is the Grand Opening of the Benston Hall location. You may know the building as the former Benston Grange. The Grange program ended over 20 years ago and the building is in private hands, and available for rental.
Among the keys to a long life are regular moderate exercise, a good diet and an active social life. Come on out and share some time with your Graham neighbors.
