6pm, March 26 New Bethel High Groundbreaking

It has been almost 20 years in the making and the ground is not yet broken for the new Bethel High School site. Years ago, the large field was used by parachutists. Next, the Rainier View Chirstian Church was built on the front of the site, across the street from North Star Elementary School. At issue, the headwaters of Muck Creek are located on the property. The build will have to balance use of pavement with need for water infiltration.

On March 26, at 6 p.m., the official groundbreaking ceremony will take place at the site. The entrance will be through the parking lot of the church at 7420 224th Street, Graham.

The Board of Directors will meet at the site of the new Bethel High School for the Groundbreaking Ceremony.

Below are photos of the presentation of the new Bethel High School plan held March 12, 2024.

At the same time as the presentation of the new design, the current Bethel High was visited by a rainbow. Some of us might need this reassurance during this big leap from the original high school of the district.
