Cross Park is an effort of the Frederickson Clover Creek Community Council and the Friends of Stan and Joan Cross Park. They got additional money from the Washington legislature and with the help of the Pierce County Parks Department, made the first phase of the project happen.

But wait! There’s more!

There are several more phases to the Cross Park plan. The fundraising continues, to make the sports fields and other amenities become a reality.

On May 3, from 5 to 8 p.m., the Pierce County Skills Center at 160th and Canyon Road, the students of the culinary program will prepare a meal of spaghetti, meatballs, salad, bread and drinks. Cost for adults is $17, kids 5-12 is $12, kids under 5 are free.

Make sure you bring a little extra cash to get int he fun! There will be a dessert raffle and many items on a silent auction as well as T-shirts for sale.
