The Clover Creek Council and the Clover Creek Restoration Action Alliance have taken the first steps to move forward with our new officers. Just before our board meeting on April 26, Al and Diedre met at the Bank and transferred the account to our new Treasurer. Our next meeting is May 2, 6pm at the Parkland Spanaway Library Meeting Room. The agenda will include a guest speaker, CEO Steve Decker, from Family Promise of Pierce County. You may wonder why someone who runs a homeless facility is useful? We need to coordinate a way to get homeless people out of the creek because they are making a mess around Pacific Avenue. Steve will share some ideas with us on approaching these folks so we can get that part of the creek clean.
