County voter pamphlets are LATE

on

If you are a voter, you probably have your ballot by now. But, due to a vendor error, several communities did not receive voters’ pamphlets.

Pamphlets will be mailed to affected communities on July 29: Buckley, Carbonado, DuPont, Fife, Kapowsin, Key Peninsula, McKenna, Orting, South Prairie, Steilacoom, Wilkeson, and parts of Parkland, Spanaway and Midland.

The Pierce County Auditor’s office said in a news release that they regret the error and appreciate the vendor’s willingness to deliver pamphlets as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, voters can access the pamphlet ONLINE in the following ways:

  • Access the voter pamphlet online at PierceCountyElections.org in the Current Election section or log into www.VoteWa.gov to access the online guide.
  • Visit a local library. They will either have copies you can take or copies you can read while you’re there.
  • Contact us at 253-798-8683 or Elections@PierceCountyWA.gov. We will mail you one directly from our office.

For further information, contact Pierce County Elections at Elections@PierceCountyWA.gov, or (253) 798-8683 or visit PierceCountyElections.org.
