The following events are taking place in August with the Blue Zones Project Parkland-Spanaway. Blue Zones are places in the world that the National Geographic identified as places that people commonly live to be 100. Parkland Spanaway is not one of them, in fact, we have the lowest life expectancy on an average than the rest of the county.
Starting today, August 6, at National Night Out at Trinity Lutheran Church, you can meet the Blue Zones staff.
Then you can join a walk group (MOAI), learn healthy cooking skills, or tools to be more purposeful in your life. Blue Zone will have something of interest to you.
