It a small country fair that is very family friendly. The Lacamas Community Center will be taking entries on Thursday, August 22 from 1 to 6 p.m. The Fair begins Saturday August 24th and ends on the 25th.

Breakfast is available at the Lacamas Community Fair from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Home economics, horticulture, animals and arts are categories of competition. The fair also has games, events and the kitchen will be cooking up some great burgers and fries for those who get hungry.

One of the highlights is the kid’s watermelon eating contest at 3 p.m. There is also a rope bridge challenge and a Lego building contest Sunday at 2 p.m. You must bring your own box of Legos.
