The Scandinavian Cultural Center at Pacific Lutheran University has a Norwegian language Christmas Service they offer each year for anyone that would like to immerse themselves in the Nordic language.

This is typical Lutheran Christmas Service, but in Norwegian. The date is Sunday, December 1, 2024 at 4 p.m. The event is held in the Scandinavian Cultural Center on the lower floor of the Anderson University Center. The event is free. There are refreshments after the service which typically include some Norwegian Christmas goodies.

Enter the building on the upper floor and you can take the stairs or there is an elevator for those who cannot use the stairs. If you try to take the stairs by the Viking ship replica, the door is often locked. You will have to knock on the window to get someone to let you in.
