Graham-Kapowsin, Bethel or Spanaway Lake, if you were a star athlete in your high school years, you could be nominated for the Bethel School District Athletic Hall of Fame.

Bob Niehl, Bethel Class of 1970, State Champion Basketball Team and son of Ed Niehl (who is over 100 and still with us) called me today. He was interested in the Bethel High School All Classes Reunion that we are planning for July 12. 2025. That’s another story a week from now.

Bob and I were chatting about people who should be nominated for the District’s Athletic Hall of Fame. I think we even know some announcers and coaches that should be submitted. So, if you remember a really talented girls volleyball player or a great track star from your years in school, please use that link and get them nominated! Pull out your annual and name them.

The nominating committee meets Monday, January 6, 2025, so do this right away. The form is on the link. Swamp them with great ideas and people from the past!
