Subject: Washington State is trying to add new tax on your self storage!

Dear Marianne,

We are writing today to inform you of two legislative bills that are currently being debated in our state capitol.

The proposed bills, HB 1907/SB 5711, would add sales tax on self-storage. If passed, these bills could add tax to your monthly storage expense, in most cases by more than 10%.

Time is Important so, please contact your local Washington legislators and tell them to vote NO on HB 1907 and SB 5711.

If you are opposed to:

–          A new sales tax on your storage unit.

–          A sales tax of up to 10.6% that would impact your monthly storage expense.

–          Legislation that targets military members and families that use storage when deployed and serving abroad.

–          Small businesses that are serving our local communities with goods and services that already generate Sales Tax and B&O Tax.

Please take action Now. Contact Your Legislators by sending an email Opposing these unfair Bills.
