Pierce County candidate filing is open this week. You can file online for a city council seat, port commissioner, Charter Review Board, or Council District 5’s open seat that is temporarily filled by appointee Brian Yambe.

This year is a good year to get your feet wet in the “lower” office before deciding to take on a legislative, congressional or statewide seat.
