Pierce County has just released the following opportunity:

Transportation – Spanaway/176th Area

Here is a summary of the project:

Pierce County seeks an organization to launch a Transportation Pilot Program (Program) that will provide “demand” transportation service for residents in the Spanaway/176th Corridor area. The Program will serve rural areas, outside of the Public Transportation Benefit Area (PTBA), and provide connections to certain bus routes within the underserved area of the Spanaway/176th Corridor area in Pierce County.

The Program will produce the data to help plan next steps in supporting parts of the Spanaway/176th Corridor area that are transportation deserts.

The available funding for these services is $195,000 and is only available to Applicants who have an established and operational fleet of vehicles at the time of contract execution.  The contract will be through December 31, 2025.
