On Thursday, September 11, there will be a cleanup at the old Spanaway Cemetery according to Spanaway Historical Society past President Boojee Bowman.

The volunteers will be trimming the grass, edging with weed eaters, picking up branches and trash, cleaning a few headstones and general maintenance preparing for Fall & Winter.

If you are interested in assisting, show up at 4 p.m. on Thursday the 11th and bring your work gloves, any useful tools, and something to keep yourself hydrated.
