On December 23, I try to get out an see the Christmas lights around the area. I’m not sure if it is my imagination, but it didn’t seem like there were quite as significant a number of displays as in years past.
I decided I would look at other neighborhoods than I usually drive through and I did find the joy and cuteness I was hoping for.
Hanukkah ended a couple days ago, but not without my visiting a few friends for their Hanukkah party. I got my fill of latkes, chocolate coins, and open flames.
It is now Christmas Eve. I wish you all a good dose of merriment and joy to last to the New Year’s celebration. May you have friends and family to get cozy with, happy sounds of children to fill the air, your choruses be in tune, and your punch bowl be the finest of the season.
Merry Christmas to you all!
