Mark your calendars for a paw-some day at Sprinker Recreation Center! Join us for the Dog Days of Spanaway on
Sunday, August 2nd 2026!

I know that vendors book their calendars early in the year, so if you want to be included, save this date!

Applications will be out soon. Partnering with Sprinker has made the process have a few more steps to approve things, as they have many events throughout the year. BUT As soon as the application is ready, you will get another email 🙂

Past events included bringing your four-legged friends for a day filled with exciting activities, including:

• 60+ Dog-friendly Vendor Booths
• Free Pet Photos
• Pet Parade – 12:30 PM – where your furry friends can strut their stuff
• Pet Costume contests – 12:30 PM – with fun categories: Best Duo, Most Patriotic, Most Creative, and Funniest – dress to impress!
• K9 Cake Stroll – happening on the hour at 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, & 3:00 PM, where sweet treats await.
• Disc Dog Demos – Enjoy a lively show of disc demonstrations courtesy of Summit Disc Dogs from 1:00-3:00 PM 
• Agility Station
• Mist Tunnel –  for a refreshing break and to cool off
• Splash and Play Zones featuring dog pools filled with water, endless tennis balls, and snow stations for cool-down fun
• Food Drive – with Puget Sound Pet Food Bank
• Fun Giveaways and Raffles
