Saturday, April 4 is the Grand Floral Daffodil Parade in Pierce County. Bands, drill teams, horses, clowns, and of course, the Princesses are about to take to the road.
Friday night, scores of residents will be busy stuffing daffodils into chicken wire frames to make the beautiful floats. By Saturday morning the floats will all be assembled in downtown Tacoma, preparing for the 10:15 a.m. start near 15th and Pacific Avenue.
Eash of these towns will host the parade. The start times are Tacoma 10:15 a.m., Puyallup 12:45 p.m., Sumner 2:30 p.m., and Orting 5:00 p.m.

The 2026 parade will be led by Queen Annika from Eatonville High School. In a few weeks, on May 1st, 2026, Eatonville will hold a ribbon cutting on their new football stadium. It is a good year to be from Eatonville.
