Mailchimp stopped sending out the PPP

on

Every time I write an article, the WordPress site link to Mailchimp used to sent out emails to everyone to let you know there was a new article to read.

I had an inbox with a lot of Mailchimp emails I typically deleted because I already knew there was an article. But I missed one that was critical. Apparently Mailchimp decided it was no longer going to be free. I was sent a notice my account was closing. Even though it was used almost daily, their system did not record that I had used it in 23 months. So everyone stopped getting emails and articles.

I have since contacted them and I am hoping they can recover the list with all your emails. At this point I do not have one. So, if you had clicked “follow” you probably still see the Pierce Prairie Post. Readers on Facebook still see it also. Email list people are now not informed.

I hope Mailchimp can get the list to me and I can get this restarted.

In the meantime, watch for news on the new Clover Creek Commons Project. CCRA, Clover Creek Restoration Alliance, and the Pierce Conservations District are teaming up to do a cleanup on April 19 at noon to two pm. It is 3 acres at 133rd and A Street South that Pierce County Surface Water management acquired because of winter flooding. Phase I is planting trees, bushes, native plants, wildflowers, and raingardens and some surface work and fencing. Phase II is going to set it up for events like a community market.

We love our readers and our community. See you back here soon!
