Healthcare enrollment events in Graham & Spanaway

Upcoming enrollment fairs to make sure no child in Washington State goes without medical coverage.

Spanaway Middle School, March 23, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., 15701 B St E, Spanaway

Graham, March 9, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., Frontier park, 21800 Meridian E, Graham

Key Facts:

  • Pierce County has more than 10,000 children who qualify for Washington’s State health programs and are not currently enrolled.
  • To address this disparity, 7 free, open to the public events have been scheduled to assist families with Medicaid eligibility and enrollment. The 7 events are called Carousel Enrollment Fairs, and they will run for 7 Saturdays between Feb. 9th and May 11th.
  • Carousel Enrollment Fairs will offer fun, family-oriented entertainment, prizes, information about health care resources, and most importantly, on-site enrollment for these children and their families.
  • DSHS, Sea Mar Community Health Centers, Community Health Care Tacoma, Comprehensive Health Education Foundation, Amerigroup, Community Health Plan of Washington, Coordinated Care, Molina Healthcare, United Healthcare, WithinReach, Mercy Housing, WIC offices and many more agencies will be present to provide free activities, prizes and information to families. Bilingual staff will be available.
