JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. – Several senior leaders from Joint Base Lewis-McChord will discuss financial impacts caused by sequestration and the furlough of government civilian employees at JBLM during a press conference Monday, June 10, 12:30 p.m., at the Joint Base Headquarters.

Furlough notices were given to Department of Defense civilian employees at JBLM beginning May 30. The civilian employee furloughs begin the week of July 8.
