Nisqually Springs Farm: Dollar Dog Corn Maze starts Sept. 21

MCKENNA, WA — Starting September 21, 2013, Nisqually Springs Farm and Twin Start Credit Union are hosting a Corn Maze at their location  next to Stewart’s Meats on highway 507 in McKenna. It is the only Certified Organic Corn Maze in Washington State.Maze

The Twin Star Dollar Dog, embedded in the corn maze represents the importance of educating our children in financial literacy.

The maze has been imbedded with QR codes, so if  you have a smart phone, there is no need to worry about getting lost. If you have an app for reading the codes, they will show you exactly where you are in the maze.

Admission for the Corn Maze on weekends is $9 for a wrist band, $36 per family up to 6 people. The general admission includes unlimited Dollar Dog Corn Maze, mini maze, courtyard activities, hay pyramid and petting zoo. On weekdays (Wednesday/Thursday) admission is $7 for a wristband and $28/family.

For $14, you can get a five punch wrist band ($56/family) which includes admission to the additional activities including the cow train, corn cannon pumpkin blaster and wagon ride.DSC_2464

Nisqually Springs Farm also holds the Yelm Farmer’s Market on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. through October 13. It is just west of the Nisqually River bridge on the south side of SR 507.
