PARKLAND, WA — The weekly Pierce County Council meeting will be on Wednesday in Parkland at the Central Pierce Fire and Rescue Station at 100 South 114th Street (114th & A Street).
The meeting is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. The agenda can be found here.
I will draw your attention to the following item up for final consideration because it appears to be an issue of private interest over democratic process:
Proposal R2013-122, A Resolution of the Pierce County Council Authorizing the County Executive to Sell Certain Tax Title Lands by Private Negotiation, Without a Call for Bids, for Not Less Than the Principal Amount of the Unpaid Taxes, Pursuant to Chapter 36.35 of the Revised Code of Washington, “Tax Title Lands,” and Chapter 2.110 of the Pierce County Code, “Property Management.”
