BETHEL SCHOOL DISTRICT — The Bethel School District will host three community forums about the district’s upcoming School Programs and Operations Levy and School Technology Levy.

These meetings will provide the community with information about the each of these initiatives and relative impacts to the district’s budget.

The School Programs and Operations Levy is not a new tax. Combined with Local Effort Assistance, the levy makes up about 23% of the district’s general budget.  The School Technology Levy is new funding to support technology infrastructure enhancements and device access for students.

Community forums will be held at the following times and locations: • Thursday, January 9: Graham-Kapowsin HS, 7 p.m. • Monday, January 13: Bethel High School, 7 p.m. • Thursday, January 16: Spanaway Lake HS, 7 p.m.
