Word today from Alice Shibig, “I just got a phone call from Shouana and Connell, they are in Portland Oregon headed this way with peaches and nectarines. ”

Located on Spanaway Loop Road near Tule Lake Road, the Rainier Christian Church and at the doorstep of the Shibig farm is a favorite spot to cruise in for those flavorful fruit treats. Look for the “Fruit on the Loop” logo on the side of the container next to the annual fruit stand. Connell and Shouna Goodman have been there at least 14 years, adding smiles to our faces and little puckers as we spit out those cherry seeds.

And remember to be a little more cautious near the stand as people are pulling on an off the road. Let’s make sure everyone is safe.
