JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. – In support of the National POW/MIA Recognition Day, held September 19, JBLM has scheduled a week of events.

The 2014 POW/MIA Remembrance Week events begin Sept. 15 with a wreath-laying ceremony at 11 a.m. at Memorial Grove, JBLM McChord Field (Outside the Club at McChord).

Other scheduled events include:

Sept. 16: Motorcycle Ride departs Memorial Grove, JBLM McChord Field at 11:30 a.m. and concludes at  the Washington State Soldiers Home, Orting Wash.

Sept. 17-18: A 24-hour Memorial Run beginning at 8 a.m. at the McChord Field Track.
