Grand Opening: Keithley Middle School Commons

Grand Opening: Keithley Middle School Commons

Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 06:00 PM – 08:00 PM

Keithley Middle School

Message From Host:

Please join me for a grand opening celebration of the school district’s latest major construction project: The Keithley Commons.

  • “Turning of the keys” ceremony
  • Student band and choir performances
  • Tour the new Keithley Commons building
  • Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages

The Keithley Commons will provide a new multi-purpose space for Keithley Middle School students to assemble, perform, and eat. The building will house a fully updated central kitchen capable of preparing meals for all elementary schools in the district, a new band/choral room (with instrument storage), a new computer lab, additional seating capacity for school/community events and training sessions (546 maximum capacity as compared to the previous 360), and expanded restroom capacity (18 fixtures compared to the previous 4). The district anticipates that the updated venue will be a popular and well-used community asset outside of school hours. I hope you’ll be able to join me on Thursday, December 18!

Sincerely,

Dr. Frank Hewins, Superintendent
