I can extend… but don’t want to… I am hoping with DaveWinterfest is December 13, 2014! Around 800 families that are economically challenged in the area have been chosen to receive clothing, Christmas presents and other joyful experiences at the PLU east campus (Old Parkland School) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers are welcome to assist.

Parkland Community Tree Lighting

Also on December 13, Santa will be at the Garfield Bookstore Fireside room from 2-4 p.m. – pictures will be available. 4-6 p.m. there will be a candlelight processional to Trinity Lutheran Church, 4:30 p.m. a tree lighting, Posada Spanish Nativity Walk, cookie decorating and free coloring books.

Come out to Garfield Street, shop and enjoy the holiday season.
