JBLM National Take Back the Night Walk April 30

JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. – Leaders, Service members, and members of the JBLM community will participate in the nationally recognized Take Back the Night walk in the culminating event recognizing Sexual Assault Awareness Prevention Month Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Madigan Army Medical Center Reflection Pool. The walk was established as an effort to raise awareness, educate and help send the message to community members their community is committed to ending sexual assault.

The easy two-mile walking route was selected to provide participants a family-friendly way to interact with other community members and support a positive message while providing a positive social experience, and some exercise.
