Driving around Spanaway you may have noticed a couple of new businesses being built on “the Ave.”

At 166th near Spanaway Elementary, a new location for Starbucks will shortly grace our community.

On the corner of 159th and Pacific Ave., the logos are now on the new Wendy’s. As I took a couple photos, I found someone to ask about the opening date. She told me February 20. So in 10 days the intense construction frenzy will cease and you can drop by for a burger, shake or your other favorite Wendy’s treats.
