Last year, no one stepped up to take over the parade preparation from the former Fire Chief, Bob Velias.
But …
The Lacamas Community Club has stepped up to sponsor the parade this year!
The parade starts at noon, exiting the rodeo grounds on Huggins-Greig Road and traveling on Warren Street to 1st Street, across to James Street and back to the rodeo grounds.
This is a change from the past route along SR 507. The reason is that large vehicles cannot make the turns associated with diverting onto Peterson and 4th Streets. Spectators should enjoy watching the parade from the grassy areas along this year’s route.
