Nov. 4-5 will be the annual Spanaway Lake High School Holiday Craft Fair. This is one of the best local events of the year for hand-made crafts and unique holiday gifts.
The cost to enter is $3 for an adult and children under 6 are free. Inside, you will find wood carvers, jewelry, blankets and quilts, ornaments, food, candies, stamps, furniture, candles, soaps, entertainment and all manner of other great things. The entire school will be full from the new commons to the gym and the hallways. You will certainly be delighted by what you see, even if you visit just for the atmosphere.
The event is open on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The address is 1305 168th St. E., Spanaway. From southbound Pacific Avenue (SR7) it’s a left turn at the Spanaway Post office corner, 168th Street and about ¾ mile east from there.
Happy holidays, and remember to turn your clock back that Saturday night!
