Franklin Pierce School District – Following 30 years of service to Franklin Pierce Schools including 11 years as superintendent, Dr. Frank Hewins will be retiring on June 30, 2018. Dr. Hewins has worked to improve instruction, build strong connections with the community, identify resources to improve school resources and facilities, and ensure the financial health of the district.
The Franklin Pierce community is welcome to attend an open house to recognize Dr. Hewins’ service and accomplishments on Wednesday, June 13 from 2:30-5:30pm at the Franklin Pierce Early Learning Center (12223 A Street South). A short ceremony will begin at 4pm. and will include remarks from district and community leaders. During this time, we will announce the Franklin Pierce Schools Board of Directors’ unanimous decision to rename the Dr. Frank Hewins Early Learning Center.
Please note that parking is limited at this location and is available on a first come-first serve basis.
