October 6 is ABC Day at Bethel High

ABC Day is All Bethel (School District) Community Day. Over the past 10 plus years, it has become a very popular event for the community to come to that year’s high school to see what is going on in the c=-schools and around the community. Community groups come out and show what they offer to the citizens of the Bethel School District. You may see the Kiwanis, Rotary, Spanaway or Graham Historical Society, per groups, Future Farmers, or any number of other organizations. You will be entertained by choral, band and orchestra, art and other products of students.

Bethel High School, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., October 6, 2018.

This year, the Pierce Prairie Post editor, Marianne Lincoln will be on hand to tell stories of the Hudson Bay Company outposts in our area – that’s Fort Nisqually to many of you, but in our neighborhoods. She has tales of American Settlers, wagon trips gone wrong, Indian fishing and treaties, treason, arrests, jails, war and British land ownership. There is more to know about the place you live than meets the eye.
