JBLM conducts late-night mortar, demolitions and artillery training Tuesday morning through Friday evening JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. – Joint Base Lewis-McChord will conduct day and late-night training Tuesday morning through Friday evening that will include either artillery, mortars or demolitions.
TRAINING BEGINS Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 6:30 a.m.
TRAINING ENDS Friday, Jan.18, at 11:59 p.m.
FIRING OF 155mm Howitzer artillery, or 60mm, 81mm and 120mm mortars, or demolitions
Four JBLM units are scheduled to conduct training this week with artillery, demolitions and mortars. Training will occur during the day and nighttime hours. Increased levels of activity will be noticed beginning Tuesday at 6:30 a.m. through Friday at 11:59 p.m.
