Graham Fire and Rescue has been training at the home at 23009 70th Ave E., Graham, WA 98338. It is conveniently across the street from the fire station on 70th Avenue.
This is a house that needs to be removed from Bethel School District owned property before the new bond-funded Bethel High School can be built. Graham Fire began training in the house in January and will conclude their training by burning the house to the ground at 8 a.m. February 27.
Graham Fire has been involving students from the Pierce County Skills Center in their training plans.
See the students in action in this short video and mark your calendars for February 27th, when Graham Fire will burn the old house to the ground to make way for the new school. We will share safe places to watch from in the coming weeks.
