PLANNING COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING

PIERCE COUNTY — Date/Time: February 25, 2020 at 9:30 am
Place: Pierce County Annex, Public Hearing Rm.-2401 S 35th St, Tacoma, WA

At their regular meeting, the Planning Commission will review and discuss preliminary findings of the housing market study that provides a realistic estimate of additional housing growth related to the Centers and Corridors proposal for the Environmental Impact Statement. Materials will be available at the meeting and a draft of the study will be available at a later date.

Note: Verbal public comment at the meeting will be limited to the topics discussed and related to the housing market study. Any other comments related to the Community Plan updates can be submitted in written form to the Planning Commission via the Community Plan Updates website at www.piercecountywa.org/CPUpdate or email to communityplans@piercecountywa.gov. You may also mail written comment to 2401 S. 35^th Street, Tacoma, WA 98409. If you would like to deliver your written comments at the meeting, please provide eight (8) copies to the Clerk of the Commission.

The Planning Commission will take action on their recommendation on March 10 and 12, 2020. The Community Plan Updates comment period for the Planning Commission will end March 4, 2020 by the end of the day. For more information you may view the agenda or please visit www.piercecountywa.org/CPUpdate.

NEW DOCUMENTS AVAILABLE

Supplemental staff reports with additional staff-recommended changes for the four Community Plans, Comprehensive Plan, and Development Regulations are now available and will be reviewed at the March 3 & 4 Planning Commission meetings. The attachments to the staff reports show all currently proposed changes, including those in previous staff reports. All previous staff reports are available online.
