Hybrid Council Meetings have begun

on

The Pierce County Council is now holding in person meetings in the Council Chambers at 930 Tacoma Avenue South, Room 1046, Tacoma, WA 98402. They are also continuing the Zoom and caller meeting access as a hybrid model because it has proven popular with constituents who are unable to get to downtown Tacoma for a meeting.

In a notice sent by Councilmember Cruver:

Visitors to the Pierce County Council Chambers will notice a new room layout. The bench seating was replaced with individual chairs to adhere to the rules or guidelines set by the state’s Department of Labor and Industries. Citizens will be separated if they request it. It is assumed that you have received the shot if you are not covering your face. The “keeping 6’ apart” rule is in place for masked citizens. (The courts may have different rules, so if you are going to the County-City Building for court business, please know their rules before you go.)

The Pierce County Council is back together in their meeting room, 1046

All regular meetings and committee meetings are broadcast live online at PierceCountyTV.org or cablecast on Comcast channel 22, Click! channels 22/522 HD or Rainier Connect channels 20/513 HD.

Also note, there is a County Council Meeting July 22, at 6:30 p.m. at Sprinker Recreation Center that you may attend in person.
