Pierce County Overnight Shelters

Below are the Overnight Shelters open to the general community. Other shelters, such as the Stability Site, are operating but require referrals through other agencies. Only a few shelters accept walk-ins, and those often have a waitlist, so it is best to contact the shelter prior to arrival. Many shelters list open beds – if it is just a few beds, it is worth a phone call to ensure availability. A list of all known current shelters is also available.

Inclement Weather – today, December 28th through at least Friday, December 31 – extra overnight shelter capacity is available at multiple sites. Check the Overnight Shelter Page for availability at other area shelters. Many of the shelters list the number of beds currently available there. New to the shelter system in the past 24 hours:
