Help support Winterfest 2022

Each year, community services in the Parkland-Spanaway area support low-income families by collecting items for Winterfest. Families receive invitations from those community services to participate in the event.

Winterfest has served hundreds of local families over the past 30 years. They share refreshments, hold a children’s fair with games, face painting, a visit with Santa, and crafts. Parents also have the opportunity to select holiday gifts for their children, connect with local resources, and access coats, socks, and personal hygiene items.

Local resident can help by providing items to distribute at the event. One of the drop off locations will be LeMay Collections at Marymount. LCM also helps with Santa’s Castle who supports local military families. Between now and December 15th, you can drop off new jackets, toys or dollars at Marymount (325 152nd St E, Tacoma, WA 98445 ) to help shop for these programs. Do not wrap these items.
